The family plus Dana (friend of my son Conrad) went to Home Depot after church to get our Christmas Tree. It went very well and we are now busy decorading the house.
BTW ... Thanksgiving 2003 was also especially fun. We did the annual trip from San Diego to Anaheim (usually a 1.5 hour trip one way) to Aunt Pat and Uncle Joel's house. The trip up was 2.5 hours (all traffic, no accidents) and at about 1.5 hours, Christy and I were wishing we had a portable DVD system for the boys. The food, people, conversation, etc. were great. The trip up was much better with two of three kids a sleep and we had normal driving speeds.
